Areas Of Practice

My areas of practice include psycho-legal work and mediation. I assist families in the drafting of Parenting Plans and I conduct psycho-legal assessments in family law matters.
I prepare Voice of the Child Reports.

Examples of types of issues and disputes that I asses and mediate include

 

  • residency and contact,
  • relocation,
  • contact resistance and difficulties,
  • voice of the child,
  • contact and residency plans for babies, young children or vulnerable children,
  • allegations of substance abuse
  • allegations of domestic violence and
  • alienation.

I have testified as an expert witness in the High, Regional and Magistrate Courts, as well as, the CCMA. I have testified in Children’s Court proceedings and as an expert in disciplinary hearings conducted by the HPCSA and the Law Society.
